HARRY HARRISAward winning director Harry Harris passed away on 19th March 2009. Harry was a loyal member of Irwin Allen's production staff for many years, contributing immensely to the success of Irwin's productions. He was also well known for his work on other prominent television productions including Rawhide, Bonanza, Hawaii Five-O, The Waltons, Fame, Falcon Crest, and many, many more.

BOB MAY 1939 - 2009
Sunday 18th January 2009 - We have received very sad news this evening regarding Bob May, Robot from Lost in Space. Bob passed away during the night (aged 69) and the Lost in Space and Irwin Allen community has lost one of its most enthusiastic stars. The past few couple of months have been very traumatic for Bob and his family as their home and all their possessions were destroyed by the fires in California last year. Below are some of the latest news feeds. If anyone has any pictures or memories of meeting Bob that they'd like us to include on our site, feel free to send them in to IANN via the contact page. |

Hermes Press proudly announces its publication of complete reprints of all of the classic Irwin Allen television show comic book adaptations: Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea; The Time Tunnel; and Land of the Giants. The Land of the Giants cast recently attended a fabulous new event called ScoutCon which was held on Saturday 24th May 2008 in Tampa, Florida. Attendees included: Gary Conway, Don Marshall, Deanna Lund, Don Matheson, Heather Young, as well as Don and Deanna's daughter Michele Matheson, Mark Goddard from Lost in Space, Malachi Throne (guest in several Irwin Allen productions), Barbara Luna (Five Weeks in a Balloon), Gary Lockwood and Keir Dullea (stars of 2001: A Space Odyssey), Gil Gerard and Erin Grey (Buck Rogers), and Grace Lee Whitney and Sean Kenny (Star Trek). |
